You're a star, so twinkle!

Hi all, sorry haven't posted in a while have been weighed down with course work:(
but here now!:))

So some of you may already know that I suffer from low self esteem- this isn't something you choose to have or something that your fake for attention. Low self esteem is either the result of something happening to you in your life or something which you have developed naturally over a period of time. This is where you aren't comfortable with yourself whether you hate your appearance or just lack self confidence.

Basically the only thing you can do is learn to love yourself ...(as cheesy and corny as that sounds). Whether you are really insecure about your body, think your useless at everything or just simply really shy and nervous about talking to people then you just need to boost your self esteem!:)
First things first, you need to believe that you can do it. Whatever 'it' is. If you don't believe in yourself then who else is going to believe in you? You need to have the confidence that YOU can achieve your dreams and trust me, you will get there.
A few nights ago I heard a really inspiring speech from a medal winning paralymipan which really really inspired me. It taught me a huge lesson that it doesn't matter what you look like or what life throws at you, you have to pick yourself up and battle through. So maybe you might not look like a super model but no ones perfect!? There will ALWAYS be someone that is prettier than you or better that you at history or more talented at you at singing or whatever it is, but you have to see them as a challenge, a competition for you to prove that you yourself can do your best.

If you can believe that you are fabulous in your own lil' way then you will truly do amazingly at whatever it is your doing because if you have tried your best at something then you should be proud of that. Thank you for reading, hope you have a gorgeous day full of cheekiness and grins.

1 song triggers 1000 memories

Hi there, I hope you are all well:) I was speaking to a friend earlier and they know me quite well and sent me a link to this song, saying the first few lines reminded them of me. I thought it was going to be some joke or something but I listened to the lyrics and began to cry. Yes I cry a lot but this really really hit me with feeling. The words I've been feeling for months but never been able to say.

Retrograde     -James Blake

You're on your own
In a world you've grown
Few more years to go,
Don't let the hurdle fall
So be the girl you loved,
Be the girl you loved

I'll wait
So show me why you're strong
Ignore everybody else,
We're alone now
I'll wait
So show me why you're strong
Ignore everybody else,
We're alone now

Suddenly, I'm hit
Is this darkness of the dawn?
And your friends are gone
And your friends won't come
So show me where you fit
So show me where you fit

I'll wait
So show me why you're strong
Ignore everybody else,
We're alone now (We're alone now)
(We're alone now)
I'll wait (We're alone now)
(We're alone now)
(We're alone now)
I'll wait (We're alone now)
(We're alone now)
(We're alone now)
(We're alone now)
(We're alone now)

Suddenly, I'm hit
Is this darkness of the dawn?
And your friends are gone
And your friends won't come
So show me where you fit
So show me where you fit
I really really hope that if any of you out there ever feel totally alone, even if there are physically loads of people around you or you feel almost surrounded by darkness, that you can show YOURSELF why YOU are strong. Ignore all the anger. The stress, the worry. Ignore all the people and look inside yourself.
